Hi to all you fans out there. It’s been an amazing time having the Rugby World Cup here in New Zealand. I can’t believe all the hype around the tournament. It’s been great seeing Kiwis so inspired and embracing it so wholeheartedly; not to mention all of the visitors to our lovely country.

Dear Diary
When I was called into the All Blacks squad I got the call from the All Black Manager Darren Shand. It was around 10pm. I wasn’t really expecting the call so when I saw his name show up on my mobile the first thing I thought was, “Oh no, Dan’s injury must be pretty bad.” Shandy said that I would be named in the All Blacks squad in the morning. It took me a little while to actually go to sleep that night and when I woke up I lay there and thought, “Wow, I really am going to play a part in this Rugby World Cup.”

Saving a country - the All Blacks at Eden Park
For so long, a nation that has produced a string of outstanding rugby sides has stumbled at the last hurdle. Gods take it upon themselves to destroy those they deem gifted.
Cheers to our beloved All Blacks!
After 24 years of copping flack from my colleagues and friends alike over the All Blacks’ failure to win rugby union’s “Holy Grail”, despite being the No. 1 team for so long, today I would like to thank the three wise men, Graham Henry, Steve Hansen and Wayne Smith for ending the misery for their legion of fans.
Was the final the greatest game of rugby union ever?
The All Blacks have finally broken their 24 year drought and have won 2011 Rugby World Cup defeating a brave France 8-7 at Eden Park. The game was an absolute cracker, and despite the favourites winning, the element of surprise would be the score.
